This pot had crazing in the glaze and has a small chip on the top part of the handle of the cover....pic 5..., and a medium sized chip on the upper rim of the pot itself.....pic 7..... The bottom edge of the pot is soiled from age and use but also has three indented areas that don't look like damage but are rather, some sort of manufacturer's flaws. There is an area on one handle that did not get good glaze coverage and an open air bubble and straw mark on the other. There may always be small manufacturer's defects or microscopic blemishes or flaws consistent with age and use which is to be expected in antique and vintage items. Rest assured that any major issues will always be both documented and photographed to the best of my ability. Be sure and check the photos as they are an integral part of the description and do a much better job of showing condition issues than what I can explain through the use of the written word.
