Vintage Watt Ovenware Lidded Dish #96 made in USA

Description

Vintage large lidded ovenware bowl or dish made by Watt Pottery. This bowl is of a bright mustardy yellow color, with a brown drip glaze along the inner and outer rims. This is a heavy and solid bowl. It measures 8-1/2" in diameter and is approx. 3" deep. When the lid is placed on, the piece as a whole measures approx. 6" tall.
This bowl is
in gently pre-owned used condition, free of any major chips, nicks or cracks from what I can see. There is crazing present on the inside of the bowl, which is common to happen to pottery from aging over time. There are air bubbles and glaze pops as well, which is also common to happen during production. There is a small imperfection to the clay in a spot on the rim of the bowl, see picture. This does not distract from its display appeal. .
The bowl is marked "Watt, 96, USA, Oven Ware" on the bottom.
