Description

Bates numbering is used in the legal, medical, and business fields to place one or more of identifying numbers, date and time marks on images and documents as they are scanned or processed, for example, during the discovery stage of preparations for trial or identifying business receipts. Bates stamping can be used to mark and identify images with copyrights by putting a company name, logo and/or legal copyright on them. This process provides identification, protection, and automatic consecutive numbering of the images.
Vintage Reiner Numbering Machine Stamp, made in Germany, in a Vintage Bates Numbering Machine Box with accessories, instructions, ink, ink pad.  REINER® is viewed as a market leader of stamps in Europe & the United States. It has 6 wheel and cam (8) = six numbers stamp, i.e., 567435.  It comes with two different cams (6 & 7) to convert to 4 or 5 numbers stamp. Dimensions: H: 6-1/4”, D: 2”, L: 2-3/8”.
