    Description

    This is a vintage, original poster-size map of Chicago from 1965 in unused, near-mint condition. The card-stock map has strong graphics with bright colors including a purple border, and it features a street-finder on the reverse side. The map side has a flat matte finish and the reverse has a slight plastic-coated finish. The poster was made by the Nu-Visor Guide Advertising, Inc. of Chicago for State Farm Insurance agents, and was intended for drivers to fold and slip above the visor in their cars for convenient usage. This guide was never used and is new original stock (NOS) and the folds have not been creased. There is only light wear due to age and storage including slight discoloration on the back (street-finder) side.
    The map measures about 14 1/4 inches wide by about 21 1/4 inches tall. It was printed with slightly rounded corners on the top and squared corners on the bottom. It would be quite suitable for framing and hanging on a wall.
    I do have more than one of these maps in the same NOS-condition, and if you are interested in purchasing multiple copies please contact me first before buying. The map will be shipped flat in cardboard to preserve its condition.
