I am selling this as used but it does not look like it has been. Yes there is some paint wear but that is most likely due to storage as this is quite heavy. I see no wear to the bronze disc or pads. This is a Tru-Stop air cooled disc brake for industrial applications, used for stopping rotary motion. These brakes are for easy changing of the line and cable spools without distributing the tensioning brake. This Tru-Stop brake system with self-cooling, ventilated bronze disc and hand tensioning adjusting wheel makes for a smooth dependable and safe wire and cable stringing operation. These brakes are typically used on stationary sled or mobile trailers used with turret reels. The center hub of the brake has a square mounting with 2" hole and the square mount tube bracket has a 2-1/2 inch hole. This retails for >00 new at 5pc quantities so you can own one at a fraction of the cost.

DETAILS/CONDITION:
I am selling this as used but it does not look like it has been. Yes there is some paint wear but that is most likely due to storage as this is quite heavy. If it has been used it was only a couple times. The brake spins when grabbed by hand and the tensioning wheel and brake system works properly. I see no wear to the bronze disc or pads. The bronze disc has oxidized from storage but would do so in the field anyway
. There are no cracks or damaged parts. The unit operates properly.
I am not a dealer of this product, so I offer no warranty and there is no warranty of any kind. If the item is described as New or New other then this means the item has never been used and is in like new condition and should operate as such.
I am a collector of many eras however I am not an expert on any particular one and my knowledge only comes from research, so please ask any questions prior to purchasing!! The only thing I did to this is wiped it off from dust accumulation, from sitting in my garage. Don't let this get away.
