This is an awesome camera! Rugged and the pinnacle of cinematic. It’s filmed movies and shows like House of Cards, Fast & Furious 6 and 8, Annabelle, Maze Runner, The Hobbit Films, Captain America: Winter Solider, Thor: Dark World, Prometheus, Amazing Spider-Man, and more.
This cinema camera sports a 5k S35 14 Megapixel sensor that boasts up to 18 stops of dynamic range with HDRx. Frame rates include the following:
1-120 fps @ 5K
1–150 fps @ 4K
1–200 fps @ 3K
1–300 fps @ 2K
It holds 1.8 Red Mags and records Red RAW at 18:1 to 3:1 compression. This means you can change settings like ISO and white balance in editing.
This kit includes the Red Epic X brain with an Epic X hard case, a Red top handle, a wooden side handle with a NATO rail, 1.8 SSD side module, Canon EF Smart Mount, Gold Mount battery plate with Anton Bower Gold Mount battery, Power cable, Small HD Focus 5 Touch Screen monitor with battery and HDMI cable, and a Zacuto Z Finder with monitor, eye cup, mounting options, arms, battery and DTap cable with original box/instructions.
Note this kit does not include a Redmote or side handle for control of menus.
