    Description

    Greenland, 2 kroner value from the 1945 American Issue used on cover from Thule 31-12-1949 to Elizabeth NJ USA.  With Eric Wowern certificate that does state a "philatelic use" and overpaid.  Stamp and cancel are genuine.
    The 2kr and 5kr were known to be used for many years after the issue date of 1945 until newer higher values were released in the 1950's.
