Charming Little girl
Wonderful, 15" tall, jointed,
Schoenhut,
wood character girl doll with all
original, paint finish
and no repainting. Produced in Philadelphia by Harry E. Schoenhut she is a very
RARE version with a closed mouth and teeth as well as SLEEP blue eyes & wood pate.
What a precious face she has with lovely dark blue eyes with lots of detail, multi-stroke eyelashes, closed mouth, pretty complexion and nice eyebrows. She has a
swivel head and spring joints at her shoulders and at her hips, knees, wrists, elbows, and ankles and can assume nearly any kind of pose.
She has the incised, Schoenhut signature across her shoulders and is wearing a charming, brown and white, cotton plaid  dress with
"running bunny rabbit"
lace trimmed, sailor-style collar, pleated skirt and dropped waist and antique gold pin and just needs undies, shoes and socks.
She is in very good overall
condition with just some normal light body paint wear. T
hese  wonderful, sturdy  dolls usually had lots of rough and tumble play time! She is an extremely hard to find model in a wonderful size.  Have fun with her!
