DS1-28/DS3-EC1-3 E3 Card for ONS 15310-MA(Multiservice Platform); The Ons 15310MA DS1-28 provides  Telcordia-compliant, GR-499DS-1 ports per card, respectively, and three DS-3/EC-1 ports. Each DS-1 Port operates at 1.544Mbps.  Each DS-3/EC-1 port operates at 44.736 Mbps over a single 75-ohm 728A or equivalent coaxial span.  These cards can operate as a working or protect card in 1:1 protection schemes.
In addition, the DS1-28/DS3-1 card provides retiming, so that any outgoing DS-1 signal can be retimed to eliminate accumulated jitter and wander at the point of egress from a synchronous network.
