    Description

    For your consideration is a 9" mixing or serving bowl made by Watt Pottery Company of Crooksville, Ohio.  Watt Pottery Company was founded in 1921 and produced products until 1965.  I have been led to believe that this bowl was produced during the 1940s.  The writing, on the bottom of this bowl reads:  WATT        9 (underlined)        USA        OVEN WARE.  The interior, the bottom and most of the exterior are a shade of yellow.  The exterior has a single band that is a shade of green.  Above and below the green stripe, is a white stripe.  The rim has a diameter of 8 7/8" and is 5" above the surface it is sitting on.  This mixing or serving bowl is an old item that was used.  It has 0 cracks, however, on the rim, is a very tiny chip.  On the base, are other very minor chips.  On the side, there is a spot where an air bubble burst during firing.  There are other minor to insignificant manufacturing glitches.  Please, carefully examine the pictures, as the pictures are part of the description.   Local pickup is encouraged.  Local pickup is free.  For my bookkeeping, it is lot  DGW 841.
