⫸2007-12 Planet of the DINOSAURS - National Geographic Maps Poster School
When dinosaurs emerged 230 million years ago, Earth's continental drift had created a super-continent, Pangaea. Gradually, Pangaea divided into two land masses (Gondwana & Laurasia), dividing dinosaurs into two populations that evolved in isolation from each other. Then 65 million years ago, they all met their end. This is a fun and informative study with illustrations of the dinosaurs on each of the divided continents. One side contains information about the dinosaurs on Gondwana, in the the southern hemisphere, with names, descriptions, and illustrations. The reverse-side contains the information about the dinosaurs on Laurasia, in the northern hemisphere.
Map is approximately 20” x 31”.
