These bikes are getting very hard to find in their original condition – unmutilated, unmodified, etc…
with low miles.
Comes with original color-matching rear seat cover / racing cowl
The FZR / YZF line of bikes were well known early on for their unique and revolutionary Delta Box design & fwd engine slant, which lowered the center of gravity and gave them awesome handling.
At the time, they were regarded as one of the best bikes on the road and race track, and were even voted ‘bike of the decade’ in the motorcycle press world.
Truly one of the OG’s of sport & race bikes.
Condition:
It is not perfect, as it is 25 yrs old, but aside from a few small scuffs & scratches(see pics), it is overall easily 9/10.
Although some of the scuffs are hard to see, I tried getting the light angle just right so they would show up as best as possible in the pics.
The bike has always been garaged, and when I didn’t ride for a while, I would at least run the engine periodically, move it around to operate the components, etc…
Just took it out the other day for an hour – everything was perfect – it’s ready to be driven & enjoyed!
I hate to see it go, but with kids & getting older, my priorities have changed.
