Another significant 1960's era National Geographic map. This one-sided map contains a classic Geographic political (shows national borders) and informational map of the area from Greece to the west and southern USSR and Iran to the east. On it are pinpointed many brief descriptions of Biblical and other historic events and where they occurred. There is also a large informational map inset of the Holy Land today (Israel, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon). In addition, there are smaller map insets of the Walled City of Jerusalem, the Route of the Exodus, St. Paul's Four Great Journeys, and the Crusades. A significant and fascinating map for students of the Bible or the area, as well as travelers.
Map is approximately 30" x 40". Single side map.
